Nature Protector Adventures was founded by Shukuru, a woman from the Kilimanjaro Region of Tanzania. The name Shukuru is a Swahili word meaning "thankful" or "grateful". She is a believer of living in inter-dependence, so even until the establishment of Nature Protector Adventures she believes not in her mind or in her strength. Rather that she is thankful for the people who have supported her to achieve these goals. Her greatest thirst is to support others as she was helped. The percentage of tour companies that are headed by a female is very small and she desires to act as a role model to those who do not think that it is possible to achieve big dreams. She is also greateful to be raised in a country that places importance on its natural resources. Tanzania in fact has over 30% of its land under protected status. Nature Protector Adventures is a strong advocate in the preservation of these irreplacable resources. Come explore Tanzania with us.
